Biography

Director Michael Branham announced the appointment of Dr. Kellie Warren as the Deputy Director for the Department of Juvenile Corrections effective November 3, 2007. Dr. Warren will be taking on the command of all agency operations.

Dr. Warren has served as the Department’s Assistant Director for Programs and Institutions since June 2006.  Previously, she was the Department’s Director of Clinical Services beginning August 2004.

Preceding her work in Arizona, Dr. Warren was the Director of Treatment at the Community Education Center in Newark, New Jersey, a residential treatment facility and on-site school. While providing direct supervision to unit managers and shift supervisors, Dr. Warren directed the residential life and operational aspects of the program. Prior to her work in Newark, Dr. Warren was with the Ohio Department of Youth Services providing treatment services to juvenile sex offenders.

Dr. Warren is a graduate of Central State University where she earned her Bachelors Degree.  Additionally, Warren holds a Doctorate in Psychology from Wright State University.
