Message to our Volunteers
MESSAGE TO OUR VOLUNTEERS
Advisement Date: March 17, 2020
Dear Volunteer,
In the midst of efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, conversations with the Department of Health Services have led the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections to take the step of limiting access to Adobe Mountain School to essential staff only.
As a result, volunteer access to the facility is suspended for 30 days. This step is being taken to mitigate the risk of spreading the virus to youth, staff, and the volunteers themselves.
We value our partnership with each and every one of you as you are very committed to the success of our youth and provide so much support to them. We look forward to resuming volunteer services when it is deemed appropriate. At that point, we will contact you.
For any additional information, please contact Volunteer Coordinator Leonard Braxton, Chaplain Rose Martin, or Support Services Chief Administrator Peter Luszczak.
Thank you for your attention and for your service to our youth.
Jeff Hood
Director
