On March 5, 2018, the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) has awarded managed care contracts to seven integrated managed care organizations (MCO’s) that will coordinate the provision of physical and behavioral health care services to 1.5 million Medicaid members. Called AHCCCS Complete Care, the contracts began on October 1, 2018, and were awarded to the following in the geographic service areas (GSAs):
- Arizona Complete Health - Formally Cenpatico
- Banner University Family Care Plan
- Health Plan
- Magellan Complete Care of Arizona
- Mercy Care - Formally Mercy Maricopa Integrated Care (MMIC)
- Steward Health Choice Arizona - Formally Health Choice Integrated Care (HCIC)
- United Healthcare Community Plan
