Tribal Liaison

The Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections (ADJC) employs a tribal liaison to facilitate government-to-government partnerships or agency-to-agency alliances between ADJC and Arizona's American Indian Tribes. With oversight by the Director, the tribal liaison acts as the agency's point of contact with tribes represented in ADJC's juvenile population. ADJC is committed to the spirit of the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) and shall consult with tribes when out of home placement is being considered for tribal juveniles. For more information about programs offered, please contact the ADJC Tribal Liaison or visit one of the resources identified below.
